Good location, an easy walk into town. Check in process and checkout were great. No complaints at all of the overall experience. The free carpark itself is a big selling point as finding parking in Queenstown itself is often challenging.

Stayed here with my family for 2 nights. Great location and convenient to get to the town centre. They also have heated rack to dry towels which is very thoughtful. However, I am taking one star off because of the unstable water temperature in the shower...it went extremely hot, after a few seconds went cold without warning, then hot again... we couldn't have a comfortable shower during our stay. Taking another star off because the bedrooms are too small, no room for bedside tables. I had to put things on the floor. I will try another accommodation next time.

Caples court is a great place to stay. I stayed with my brother and son in a generously sized room with our own kitchen and bathroom, fantastic. Coming back after a day out it was always a welcome to find our room cleaned and beds made. This gave us one thing to do, have a drink on the balcony and enjoy the views. We loved sitting on our balcony looking at the mountains and lake views for a morning coffee or afternoon beer. Mary, the owner, and the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful over our 11 night stay. You couldn’t have better hosts.

The basement room was not bad at all. Came at a great price too. Just sorry it doubled in price since Trans Tasman bubble started and being school holidays.

Booking was easy, checked in after hours was simple and the apartment was tidy and clean. We booked the 2bdrm apt with double bed and two singles. Shower was great, kitchen was compact and just what we needed for a short stay. Pros: super close to town, it's just a short walk and we were able to get a car park. Cons: The room with 2 single beds was very small so wouldn't recommend if you're not totally comfortable being in very close quarters with the other person. Not hugely sound proof which wasn't a problem for me but coming home early morning is not ideal if people are already sleeping . Also, there's no a huge amount of space for luggage in the singles room if you need to pack/unpack. Better to use the living room . Not reasons to pass up the place but things to consider. Would def stay again

Great location and nice comfortable place. Howevrr they need to improve the housekeeping. Kitchen floor doesn't get cleaned nor vacuuming the carpet.

We stayed in the basement studio for 5 nights. It was small, but quite adequate for our needs. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom fan did an excellent job (many of the other places we have stayed out have fans that do not keep the bathroom steam-free). However, we did notice some spider webs on the upper walls and ceiling. Our main issue was vehicle access and parking. The spaces were very narrow and there was not a lot of room to manoeuvre a larger vehicle in and out of the car parking area. If the centre carpark on the laundry side is being used, access to the basement studio is difficult, particularly for getting luggage in and out of the room. We also found it very difficult to right turn out of the steep driveway onto Stanley St as visibility is poor especially if there are cars parked on the roadside. When we were on foot, Caples Court was only a short walk into town. Overall the basement studio is well equipped and certainly very good value for money. We would score the room 4, but the parking 2. Hence our average rating of 3.
