β β β β β 55min from AKL CBD.nice if you really wanted some quiet time.friendly and welcoming staff.spacious studio with very beautiful sunset views.comfortable bed.equipped with microwave though some utensils are rusty. iron and ironing board. complimentary bikkie and coffee/chocolate. need to drive self to spa.a little far from our room.nonetheless,we loved our stay

β β β β β A good resort for a quick getaway from the Auckland hassle. A resort by the cliff overlooking the Kariotahe beach which is a few minutes walk. Excellent personality from their receptionist, masseur, chef and general manager. Their restaurant serves a good variety of food at a reasonable price. They have a massage spa that you have to book and pay even the outdoor spa bath. They also offer some outdoor adventures. Good location with mini hikes around the area. Good wifi connection but no mobile signal. Excellent for a day trip or a few nights stay!

β β β β β Views are amazing. Serene and peaceful and will definitely promote and go there again...and again! Food was Yummy And staff lovely and friendly. Took some lovely photos but have downloaded to laptop.

β β β β β We had the most wonderful Christmas lunch here. Communication and booking was with Harish which was easy and prompt communication. Fabulous view from our table, food was delicious and staff were in friendly Christmas spirit. I couldnβt recommend enough if you were considering booking for Christmas!

β β β β β It was our first time staying here in Castaways and the experience was an unforgettable one. I attended my friendβs wedding and we felt so home-y and relaxed.
Would like to personally thank the Duty Manager - Ms. Janette, for the all work sheβve done for us and to her team. Thanks for going the extra mile. You were very friendly and accommodating to all of us. The bride and groom also felt the hospitality youβve shown.. The place itself was WOW + overlooking the beach.
Our 3 course meal were also yummy!! Eye fillet was the best and seafood chowder. Breakfast buffet was also good. Thanks again Castaways. Weβll surely be back ??

β β β β β We stayed in the castaway tent, absolutely amazing views. The drive down in your own golf cart was cool. Very very private tents and with no reception means you could really switch off. The supplied 3 course meal was amazing and large portions too. Very well catered for!! Laze around in the hammocks or take in the scenery with a beer in hand. Will definitely be back!!!
