★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came from cooks beach and "took the wrong turn" (instead of following my GPS, I followed the brown signs) and ended up in this carpark. Luckily ?
Parking fee is 10 $ per car including 2 adults for the whole day. I was the only car there in the late afternoon (around 3:30 pm).
Only 20 min from the carpark to the main walkway through farmland. Easy walking. Don't mind the cattle they walking away from you anyways (just watch out for the poo). Maybe another 10-15 min to the beach from the crosspoint. It was not too busy. Unfortunately the sun was already low, so either pictures in the shade or against the sun.
I also walked to the lookout. This took me around 30 min (instead of the 50 min).
I was back by 5 pm, so soon enough before it was getting dark.
Would recommend coming in the mornings or at noon or in summer. So you got more time to explore.
