★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Obviously parking is full during the day but quiet after 5pm.
If you need somewhere to camp, the beach side of the car park is DOC land and you can park there while the town side is council owned and you can’t freedom camp there without risk of fine. There is also ONE sign in the middle down low so that if someone’s parked there you can’t see. Watch out.
Toilet is fine. No sink and no water available which I assume is due to summer water restrictions.
