★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful dining experience is made out of several things, the staff efficiency, the food ,the decor, the restaurant layout, furniture, tableware & washrooms.. cleanliness, efficiency, manner & attitude of staff most important. Well central fire station bistro is the full dining experience.. We always leave feeling we have had wonderful experience & look forward to the next time. Absolutely faultless, thankyou to all involved in making this so. ( I can't give a five star only because I've never used the washrooms) best wishes Jacqui Flaschner

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow, just wow. Stunning food all round here. I doubt there would be a single dish on the menu that would fail to impress, both in the mains and the desserts. Actually really good value for money. Wonderful use of red-leaved Witloof. Great attentive staff too.

Favorite dish of the night was the beetroot tart, truly delicious, and what I assume was house made stracciatella was incredible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful food, very good wine list. The manchego croquettes with honey were fab as was the perfectly cooked beef fillet. The setting in an old fire station with large windows was great, with comfortable chairs and lots of room around the tables.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are in Napier, you CANNOT leave without dining here. I promise you, this will be the best dining experience you have ever had. When I tell you that every aspect of it was perfection, I tell no lie. From the first impression with the decor, layout and kitchen. To the cocktails, our servers and last but CERTAINLY not least, the exquisite food, I could cry it was that incredible. The food was a carefully crafted combination of flavours that will leave you speechless.
I had the manchego croquettes, raw fish starter, confit duck for main and a caramel white chocolate mousse for dessert. I also had the pleasure of trying their duck and pistachio terrine, lamb rump main and market fish main which were equally exquisite.
