★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first experience was great, the job was done to satisfaction. So, as a loyal customer I came back fro the second job and it was a true disaster. We made an arrangement whereby I was to collect the item at 3PM on the day. It was a stormy day with a strong wind and a rain like from a bucket. Straight after our toddler's nap I rushed in to collect the item. When I got a chance I called the store to make sure they will wait for me if I'm few minutes late. I texted too. No response. Since I wasn't far I continued to drive and arrived on dot. But no one was there. There was no contact whatsoever after that. No apology, nothing. My toddler and I caught a cold on that day. When we recovered I made a contact myself and asked if the item can be delivered to me as a gesture of good will. No, they said, it's too far for us to drive. After picking up the item I realized that I forgot to ask about maximum W, so I texted and called the store. They were still open when I called and they were open for few hours later. But - no response and still no response now. Conclusion - very poor customer service. I will not be coming back next time.

Tellingly it was suggested I go to Chelsea by my usual electrician in who I have developed a lot of respect for what he thinks is a good idea. Spot on as it happens. Thanks Chelsea Lighting!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was looking to repair my 3 stage touch lamp and no one can fix here in Hamilton. Thank God there is this place in Auckland to fix my lamp. Professional to deal with, excellent communication and job well done. I highly recommend them. It will help them with the repair if you connect with them first through email and phone.

Easy quick communication via email when I first enquired if they could help (which they could!). Had previously contacted other places all over Auckland that were no help so am so relieved to know of Chelsea Lighting for all future lighting needs
