Shanghai-born Stephen Yan, MBChB, had a six-year training in Western medicine from the University of Shanghai Medical School. Western medicine, he thought, was his destiny. He was soon to find, however, that many conditions benefited more from TCM than they did from Western medicine. So it was back to school for advanced training in the Department of Acupuncture at Hua Shan Hospital, Shanghai. β β β β β Stephen graduated from one of Asiaβs best universities, he is a highly competent great doctor, responsive, patient and humble. After the first treatment, I already feel better with my sprained wrist. Some clinics might have posh decorations, good-looking receptionists or slick equipments, but this Chinza Health is a better place to choose when you need an acupuncture.

I have continued to see Stephen for a number of reasons over the years and he is my absolute go to. Can't recommend him enough. In fact, most of my family go now too :-)

I had been seeing a different acupuncturist for a year to treat psoriasis and fertility issues without success. Within the first 2 months, my psoriasis was clearing up, and just passed 14 weeks of pregnancy. He is so passionate about helping his patients, and he really understands how stressful it is when someone has fertility issues. He treats the heart, the mind and the body. I have recommended many people to see him - even those who have been skeptical about Traditional Chinese Medicine become convinced after a few sessions with him. He is the real deal.

β β β β β I have seen Stephen for assistance in managing my atrial fibrillation and his acupuncture treatment has been a fantastic success. I am now back playing sport again and feel a lot better than I was. I have had one AF incident in the last 6 months and that was temporary and possibly triggered in part by my COVID boaster shot. Stephen has also helped treat my wifeβs sore neck/back pain and this was also very successful.
