Heater smells
Bad reception on TV
Noise proofing not really there
No ash trays for smoke butts
Coffee machine missing water canister so could not have coffee that's provided
Hair drier barely worked so had to use bathroom wall heater to dry hair
Bathroom fan off balance and noisy
Dated fixtures
However bed was amazing and comfortable once finally got to sleep

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was far our best stay in the South Island. The people at this motel are so friendly, kind and go our of their way to please to make you feel welcome and special. We appreciated their recommendation for Restaurants and this set the bench mark for other places. The place was immaculately clean and spacious. We did like the shower domes over the shower. Highly recommend to others travels.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff who were knowledgeable on local areas, rooms were clean and tidy, and bathroom comes with the standard hand/body/hair wash products. One star down for lacking toothpaste and somewhat spotty wifi (but hey it's free) Would gladly stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Conveniently located, rooms are spacious and clean. Owners were friendly and helpful. Spa bath was a pleasant surprise. Was really cold outside and the walls and windows were weeping, the heater struggled to cope. Will stay again for location, cleanliness and room size.

Sky isn't updated, room wasn't insulated and when I pulled the curtains back I found mould on them plus the net curtains were ripped, when I brought this to the wife's attention she didn't seem to care.. I answered well there wouldnt be a problem if the room was up to standard, in which she replied "the problem started when I rang them at 2 in the morning because someone had taken our park, I had popped out for a bit, I rang because I didnt want to park anywhere else incase I took someone else's park as the parks were numbered with room numbers on them we were ment to stay for 2 nights but after finding mould and the lack of addressing problems we stayed for only one night .. did get a refund for the night we didnt stay..
The whole experience was upsetting I left in tears DEFINITELY WONT BE BACK

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed my stay, staff were lovely and my room was always always presented well, Clean, tidy and upto my standards anyway, Dunno what the others were saying but hey choose the back lot carefully. I gotcha back if you have any problems cos I will come back.
P.S KICK 24 OUT N SEND HIM ON HIS WAY HES TROUBLE?
