★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor Whakatane Cobb certainly needs a revamp.
Senior meal was ok...pork roast smothered in gravy...all over it and it was hardly recognisable under neath it all. Fish pie was good although salad was swimming in dressing.icecream Sunday was still all partially frozen .. probably made beforehand and kept on freezer...staff certainly need more upmarket training...a bit sloppy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had to wait ages for someone to take us to our table. Food wise Mac and Cheese meal was cold. Had to ask to heat it up. My son's cheese burger had a way over cooked pattie. The only good thing was the jug of coke and Garlic bread that is why I gave it a 2 and even then I'm being generous

Partners burger was dry, the lettuce old and soggy, burger bun tasting old and not fresh, not enjoyable whatsoever and certainly not worth $23.50 !! Believe me I am usually more then happy to spend $20-$30 on a nice burger meal but this was just
NOT OK. Aswell as my ribs being so dry and only coming with chips for $34 you would think

They did not seem fresh at all !! Chewy, dry, and were plain yuck tasting old. Filled with absolute regret as soon as we ate. Also ordered garlic bread for $8 you would think it is like usual restaurant garlic bread, triangle cut bread/roll with fresh garlic etc but no it was a $2 tin foil one - but this was the only thing I somewhat enjoyed. For $100 I almost wanted to run off and not pay as was really disappointed…the staff were also useless!! Food was gross!! Not fresh!! Not worth the money!! Please don’t come here!! I came here like a year ago and it was much much better but this recent experience was down right appalling, will never be back. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I will not be returning! …not sure if it’s under new management or just trying to cut costs, portions were small…scotch fillet steak was tasteless (not sure how they cooked it, didn’t seemed grilled) side of mushrooms were water-down, partners mushroom sauce was as well, hardly any chips and salad and ribs were dry. The only reason I gave it a 1 star rating was because of the lovely waitress that was doing all the work; waiting tables, serving food, showing customers to their seats, etc while her 2 other work colleagues just sat beside the bar doing absolutely nothing from when I arrived to when I left! Usually I would praise/recommend this place but not anymore!! A complete waste of money!
