★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor customer service. No display of dietary requirements - then I was criticised for not knowing the salad came with an egg dressing. The manager said "I can't resell this now" and "I suggest you ask about dressings in the future". Its not easy going out with a long list of dietary requirements, and asking for a change you already feel like an inconvenience... This is just rude.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately have to be honest, I could've cooked a better breakfast on a Sunday morning with a hangover.
Presentation of partners poached eggs on hash browns was appalling, eggs were truly overdone, whites of eggs were watery and mushy. My big breakfast was terrible, fried eggs were burnt on the bottom and overcooked, sausages were terribly dry and floury, hash browns were drenched in cooking oil cold fried tomatoes, saving grace was bacon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor customer service and owner was rude when I asked for sauce on the side for the chips, we waited ages for a light lunch to be delivered to our table. She even said oh you are ignoring me and talked over me. It used to be lovely with geeat food but not any more. Not recommended and won't go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here on Mother’s Day, best cafe in havelock! My mum said it’s the best coffee and scone she’s ever had. Lots of variety of very cheap cabinet and kitchen food which comes out quickly. The iced chocolate I had was exceptional, and there was a lot of gluten free options which is rare to see in other cafes. Staff are incredibly friendly. We will definitely be back every week or so, I highly recommend!
