★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had breakfast at Wright & Co on Easter Monday before I hit the road on my trip back to Auckland.
The coffee was pretty good and the bowl of granola with fruit and yogurt was fantastic. One of the best cereal bowls I ever had. Delicious really.
The place is well located, clean, and pretty good in general. I chose to sit outside and there was plenty of tables available considering it was a public holiday and not even 08.00am.
Just found the service a bit down...could improve a bit. I am not sure if it was because the person serving the food was wearing a mask and spoke very softly or this is her personality but I could hardly understand what she said.
In overall it was very good and I will return next time I am in Havelock North.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A trip to Havelock North is not complete unless you pop into this cafe! The staff simply can't do enough to please. The food and the complimentary sparkling water are amazing!! I've left the best for last - you couldn't get better coffee anywhere, even in Italy!! This place won't disappoint.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Utterly delightful. Wonderful service, efficient kitchen, happy staff. We had water delivered without asking. The flow of the space works perfectly. Seating is comfortable. We went two days in a row, had the same meal and it was so consistent. Will visit again 100% !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really enjoyed brunch here. Business was booming but we didn't have to wait too long to get a table. Really decent portion sizes. One thing to note is that if you sit down at a table and someone orders for your group, then only those who go to the counter get their vaccine passport checked.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First, loved the presentation of the cabinet food, it looked full and colourful. Second, the layout and choice of colour of the cafe worked really well, the cushions were a nice touch the the paintings complimented this well. Third, the music (Lofi?) added a nice ambience to the whole place. Forth, the girls serving us were super helpful and patient, which made us feel more comfortable. Fifth, the food served to us off the menu was presented well and was very filling. The experience overall and the attention to detail was perfect. Awesome job guys.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cafe had a great vibe and was buzzing with a Sunday brunch crowd. Great vibrant selection of counter food. We were only able to get a table outside, but the service was still friendly and good. The food presentation was amazing, good portion size and really delicious. Love how they use the local bakery for all their fresh bread.
My only criticism was I didn't enjoy my coffee. I actually couldn't finish it. Not as good as Wellington coffee brands.
