★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First of all I was impressed with the quick response when I sent an email inquiry to this company. I had looked around at pricing and found them very competitive in this area. When I went down to deliver my computer for its overhaul I had a really great reception from the person behind the desk, nothing was too much trouble and I walked away feeling I had done the best thing ( as opposed to the feeling of being unsure when you leave a big part of your life in a strangers hands!) Work was finished on time and follow up questions answered promptly! Highly recommend ConnectNZ.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My laptop is absolutely essential for my work locally and globally. When the poor thing didn't wake up after a restart, I discovered the battery was on its last leg. The folks at Connect NZ were awesome - they evaluated the problem, ordered the battery from Oz and installed the battery the same day it arrived (2 days after diagnosing the problem). Crystal and Rachel rock!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I felt I had to write to express the exemplary service I have had from your customer services staff - particularly James.
Unfortunately my ipad has water damage so I went through State (my insurance carrier) and they directed me to your company. I initially spoke to James who asked all the right questions and he explained each step I needed to take to either have the ipad repaired or written off. He sent me a text to let me know the courier was dropping off a return paid container on 27 October. The courier dropped off the container on Friday 29 October and they picked it up that afternoon. I received a confirmation text on 1 November when my item arrived with instructions that I would receive the outcome within 2 days.
True to his word I received a text advising my ipad has been serviced and is irreparable.
I'll be able to go shopping next week for a replacement (smile).
Once again I would like to commend your company & staff for keeping me up-to-date and will also be forwarding a letter to State praising your company.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great experience getting the battery replaced on my 2015 Macbook Air.
The staff were friendly and there was great communication from Connect throughout the process with emails and texts. The service was pretty quick, 2 days for a quote and then 7 business days for the repair (including getting the part shipped in from overseas). I asked one question over email and got a response within 15 minutes.
Laptop works perfectly now, and they gave it a really good clean as well which was much appreciated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I brought my mobile in to repair a fault - Samsung camera app not working, on Monday (4 days before Christmas) Mobile a brand new phone with no external marks or faults, inside a new case that covered the whole mobile front and back. My new mobile a Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra 512gb 5g Snapdragon International version Black SM-N9860, connect repair services were able to do a out warranty claim and a assessment fee of $60 which I was happy to pay, by Friday I picked up the repaired phone, but I did not examine the mobile before leaving the premises but the Mobile was placed back in its new case and only after returning home and closely examining the front screen did I see the scratches and marks that were on the mobile but not present when I dropped it off at the reception desk. Someone at the repair centre has mishandled the device causing the damage. It was to late to call now closed for Christmas, after Christmas I sent an email to 'connect' Crystal Archer who advised me that the mobile parts (screen) could not be sourced in NZ (not trying hard enough) and not taking responsibility for the damage or paying for the cost of repair. If they don't fix it they won't pay for it. This is not how a company should behave towards a customer who hands over a very valuable item to be repaired. This attitude is very disappointing and been a Samsung authorised repair service is not helpful for future on-going dealings with Samsung.
If all had gone well I would have given 5 stars for service, welcoming receptionist and a quick turn around service and small fee. But that is not the case 2 stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took my iPad Pro 12.9 gen3 for a battery replacement ($170), was happy to pay the $103 inspection fee. Got a glib “won’t repair” email and a $1300 bill for a replacement. They didn’t open, inspect, communicate with me or debug the device at all. Won’t do any further work with connectnz where possible (I’ve got several dozen apple devices at my company).
Took the iPad to a local repair guy and he got his tools out in front of me and diagnosed and opened it up to fix.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a problem with my AirPod pros and connect folks happily took care the issue. Staff was easy to chat too and quick to explain the issue and possible outcomes. Had the AirPods fixed and back in 2 days. Definitely recommend
