About CellCity Phone Repair - iPhone • MacBook • iPad • Samsung
CellCity was founded in 2010. Working from home the managing director Dan Hooper serviced and repaired peoples iPhones, iPods and iPads. With demand growing and the space in the apartment diminishing, he was forced to find other premises to carry out his services.
That is when the first store was opened in 2013 at 107 Vivian St. It quickly became the go-to place for iPhone repairs. After 18 months of being open, Dan could see people were travelling from Lower Hutt. So to make it easier for the customers another branch was opened in 2014 opposite Queensgate mall at 91 Queens Drive Lower Hutt. Another store was opened in 2016 in the Wellington CBD at 18 Panama St between Lambton Quay and Featherston St.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An issue with my Macbook Pro not starting properly (backlight on screen but no visual display) couldn't be resolved over the phone with Cell City (Dylan)- so it was suggested to bring it in to the Cell City shop.
After drop off and within 2 hours I had a phone call from CC that all was in order. Great friendly service, fast and efficient. I recommend them and leave your tech issues with the experts.

I sent an email in the evening with my issue, got a quick response with a probable diagnosis, solution and price! Took it in the next day, was a 15 min fix (my iPhone was having charging issue) and good to go! Highly recommend. They also stock genuine apple replacement parts!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Turned up in store with broken Samsung S10 vol button that had split and fallen out of phone.
After a quick search in store through a bunch of old parts phones, a matching S10 was found, my button remnants removed and working button swapped in while I waited.
Phone now as new again - can't thank Cell City Vivian enough, especially as no charge for this 'non standard' repair! ???
