★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely supermarket. Wide selection of fresh produce and products. Reasonably priced - Not the cheapest but certainly not expensive either. Little cafe to the side is delightful. I found the staff helpful with good product knowledge. Well worth the visit and seemed to have a calmer ambient feel than most other supermarkets, especially at this time of year.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rude staff, especially the females, they sneer and scoff. Weekly national specials are frequently not stocked; false advertising, False Pretences (are there any other?). Other items I utilise regularly are not stocked and I have to go elsewhere for them, even to other Countdowns, the Claudelands one may stock most of a brand but NOT the item I want. The store has all the panache of a whore’s handbag, what gender is the manager? I only go there as it is 0.7kms from where I’ve been subsisting and I cannot justify the cost of going where I prefer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like countdown because it has more variety. Only supermarket in Hamilton that sells GREEN TEA WITH JASMINE ?. Mind-blowing I know.
Check out staff are so friendly and kind. They are awesome. Pay them more.

Nice coffee but cakes are less than soft.
Robert Harris coffee.
Bit hard because the chiller is more like freezer temperature I think. They need to lower it to fridge temperature.
I had a Chicken Filo (Burnt on bottom) and Lemon cake.
They can do better than this.
