Meet our qualified Clinical Dental Technician – Derryn

Derryn Brunton is a New Zealand Dental Council registered, fully qualified Clinical Dental Technician, with over 30 years experience in the industry. She opened The Denture Studio Ltd in March 2005, after moving to Hamilton.

Derryn completed a five year Dental Technician’s apprenticeship within the New Zealand Armed Forces (Army) in 1986, becoming a fully qualified dental technician, before working in the UK for a while. Upon returning to New Zealand, Derryn worked in prosthetic laboratories around the North Island.

Derryn completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dental Technology at Otago University in 2003.

Derryn has owned her successful clinical laboratory in Hamilton since 2005, and she is proud of her achievements in that time. She has developed a great relationship with Dentists in Hamilton and continues to work together with them to provide the best service for her clients.

Meet Dan – Clinical Dental Technician

Dan moved from Korea with his family when he was 14 and settled in Hamilton. A Hamilton Boy’s High old boy, Dan has been with The Denture Studio (2015) Limited, since he qualified from Otago University with his BDT in 2015. In the 5 years Dan has been with us he has worked as a Dental Technician and in 2019 finished his Post Graduate studies with credits to become a Registered Clinicical Dental Technician.

Dan along with his wife Jina, loves exploring the country and indulging in his passion for photography.
