โ โ โ โ โ Items are often out of stock for long periods - no gluten free flour for at least 2 weeks and have to keep going to Eastgate Countdown who have plenty of stock. Also been buying apples here and 2 out of 3 are bad inside. They need better stock control and quality control.

โ โ โ โ โ Good place to shop. Was some mouldy bread on the shelves which wasn't great but it was after a public holiday so assume that's why. They have a good range of health foods and options for different diets.

โ โ โ โ โ Late in the day (21.00)it is quite and there is time to peruse. The staff are efficient and friendly. The store is bright and clean. Missed the dele and fish.

โ โ โ โ โ I understand that everyone is short staffed and advertised specials don't always arrive due to transport issues. However my Mother who is in her eighties was trying to purchase advertised "lamington" specials for my father's 90th birthday party. Nobody stopped to help her or to let her know that there were no lamingtons. This wasn't just at Ferrymead Store but also at the Palms and New Brighton. However today she has found some at Pak n Save and the staff were very helpful. Not good customer service :(

โ โ โ โ โ I came with couple of my friends n my son to buy beer and the supervisor refuse to give because I couldn't walk properly due to my disability. She accused me of being drunk when I wasn't. When I asked them what made u say that I was drunk. They told me because u couldn't walk. So I had to saw them my disability letter and they gave me beer. I tried to ask her name but they refused to give. Why so much discrimination because of disability. Is it a crime . I was so embarrassed n felt that I wasn't belong to this society because of my disability. Comeon countdown I also belong to this world. Don't judge a person who is disability . Treat everyone same.

โ โ โ โ โ Clean and tidy supermarket. Good range of food. Nice it's a standalone building with plenty of parking. Can be more expensive than other supermarket brands though!

โ โ โ โ โ So far, this is the most organized, clean and beat countdown in Christchurch that iโve been too. I really enjoyed getting my grocery here. The vegetables and fruits too are well presented. Lots of parking spaces too. The staff are nice. Keep up the good work. โบ๏ธ

โ โ โ โ โ Super chaotic - time your visit around the busy times if possible! It was so crowded and manic at lunch time today that we left with only the essentials instead of finishing shopping.
Otherwise it seems fine - I think it could be a pretty decent Countdown at less busy times.
