β β β β β I highly recommend this company for your cycle tour. They organised our 6 day Alps to Ocean trail for 8 of us. Everything went like clock work. All the accommodation was fantastic. Pay the extra and start at Mt Cook. The helicopter trip over the Tasman was one of the highlights.

β β β β β We really enjoyed the good service! Called them spontaneously to ask for an off the schedule transfer to Braemar station which was organized quickly by them in no time. What a service! The rental bikes we got were of good quality and the staff was nice. Thanks for the lovely day cycling!

β β β β β Wife and I booked with Cycle Journeys which we highly recommend. We bought our own bikes down from the North Island in March 2022 and rode 337kms A2O over 6 days from White Horse camp to Oamaru. We experienced every sort of weather condition and only had two glitches in the 6 days. Accomodation was great for the first 5 nights but the last 2 days were wet and cold btween 9 and 11 degrees at one stage. We were booked at the Tokarahi Huts for our last night. We discovered that there were no (laundry) facilities for washing/drying wet muddy clothes and shoes. There was one fireplace for 15 cyclists to try and dry out including wet shoes from a flooded stream. The Huts although comfortable were not ventilated unless the door was left ajar as all the windows were sealed. The showers in an ablution block were governed to warm only. This may have been ok in fine warm weather but inadequate in these adverse conditions. Also no real place for charging bikes. On our last day we were advised to get lunch / refreshments at Fort Enfield so we had only energy bars, arriving to find Fort Enfield was closed. We were not impressed however overall these were the only problems we struck on an otherwise well organised and magnificent adventure. Thank you Cycle Journeys.

β β β β β Bikes were excellent. Light weight. We only hired normal mountain bikes for one day as there were no e-bikes available Everyone managed 24 kms along part of the A2O trail between Twizel and Lake Pukaki that is amazingly flat. Definitely recommended to do this. All equipment provided including a small carrier bag, a simple map (though we needed more than this initially to get to the A2O trail....asking sine people along the way) and a puncture repair kit as well as a spare tube. Just make sure you Haber plenty of sun block, a water bottle and some food.
