レンタカー有りなので、地球の歩き方ニュージーランドで紹介されているモーテルでこちらが紹介されて来てみました
普通の民家の広い庭に、2部屋の離れがありそこが宿泊所
ベッド、キッチン、トイレ、シャワールーム、洗面台、食器類等一通り揃ってるので賃貸アパートを1日借りるような感覚に近いです
それなりに使用感のある建物ですが、清掃等はきちんとされてるので居心地は悪くありませんでした
更に安い
レンタカーの駐車料込みで150ニュージーランドドル（11,700円）は魅力的でした
デボンポートの中心街からのアクセスも良好で便利でした

There are 2 rooms away in the large garden of an ordinary private house and there is an accommodation
There are a bed, a kitchen, a toilet, a shower room, a wash basin, dishes and so on, so it's almost like feeling like renting an apartment for a day
Although it is a building with a feeling of use, comfort was not bad because cleaning was done properly
Cheaper
NZ $ 150 (¥ 11,700) was attractive with car rental parking included
Access from center city of Devonport was good and convenient

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything was amazing, beautiful little spot near the water. Only issue was the two units had a door in the connecting wall so noise carried a little between units.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Better than staying in Auckland, ferry $12 return. Very well placed, near the shops, restaurants and ferry, all in walking distance. Just the two rooms, parking available, comfortable and quiet, run by Prue and family who were friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The motel is very nice and very tidy. How ever i didn't like the mistrust of the owners to their customers. They made me pay the full amount of the days i was to stay there on arrival. I asked them if i can pay it on the day of checking out. And they simply said no. This is bit Rude, did they think i was going to run without paying? Even though they knew i was there on a business trip. i travel alot and this was the first motel that made me pay upfront.
Very Strange.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Signs too small. I had a problem finding the place. Had to park down the road so had to lug my bags some distance. My welcome was a note to say they were out and a barking dog which ment I could not go through the gate. Eventually I was met. I asked for the dog to be put away but was told it has to pee, but she would let me know when it was ok for me to leave my room. I left. That's totally unacceptable. I do not recommend!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently stayed at the Devonport Motel for 3 nights. We had a comfortable King- size- plus bed in the cottage. The shower was good too. The property was within walking distance to the shops and yet quite quiet.
There was two bath towels supplied for 3 nights. No Information Booklet, no facecloths, no coffee or tea sachets. We phoned the owner and asked if we could have facecloths and her reply was that because of Covid 19 she had been advised to supply a disposable paper face cleanser. This would be fine for one use but not for showering each day for two people. Eventually we received two facecloths. As for the tea and coffee we were told to look for them in the Supply Room. I found some tea bags ,but no coffee. A day later we were given some coffee. The motel was not serviced at anytime during our stay. The weather was cool and a bit inclement so it was difficult to dry our towels. We hope that these comments will be helpful so that the next visitors wont be inconvenienced like we were.
