★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brilliant place to stay, perfect location and amazing facilities. Brand new, spotlessly clean cabins which are built to withstand the Queenstown winter. Our cabin had a bathroom and kitchen with convenient parking at the door. So much better than over priced hotels. Lovely friendly, helpful staff too. Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ very nice new facilities. well appointed and very clean. we parked one back from front row as our caravan window is in the front by the draw bar. cool play areas for the kids. very friendly staff. dump station and rubbish. . our caravan park whilst a good size width wise could be a bit challenging if your backing skills are average. recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best campgrounds in NZ! Great value for brand new facilities and right on the lake front, with access to walking/biking tracks. We have stayed here twice now and would recommend to anyone. Great that we could take our dog as well! The staff are very welcoming and accommodating also.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic stay at this place ! Incredible views from our Cabin. Everything was clean and has been planned well. My son loved the games room, I loved sitting on the deck admiring the view. The shower and kitchen / dining facilities were incredible. Can't wait to stay again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed with our motor home on the shore of Lake Whakatipu at Frankton. It was an amazing setting with easy access to bike tracks that we used over the 3 days we stayed . There was a track that took about 25 minutes into Queenstown central. The amenities were perfect. It was a treat to go into heated ablutions and kitchen in the morning.. a nice range of facilities with cabins and sites on terraces. We would highly recommend this lakeside holiday park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ NZ,s newest holiday park and the operators have used their many years of experience to create something pretty special. The facilities are just simply amazing from the kitchen to the ablutions. And to top it off the location is stunning. You can wander above the park to a pub that does good food or along the lake to the Frankton marina cafe which also has a great food selection. The park is situated adjacent to the Queenstown walkway which you can take into town or out to Kelvin Heights and further afield for the energetic. Also can avoid the parking and jump on the water taxi at the marina and be taken into the centre of Queenstown. Driftaway has set a new benchmark in the holiday park industry and no one will be disappointed.

Great central hub with kitchen and dining overlooking the lake. Bathrooms are exceptional.
Kids playground and playroom an added bonus.
Probably one of the best that we have been to. We will definitely be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very easy to deal with booking a camping spot almost one year in advance.
So far they have been very friendly and accommodating all costing just a $1 deposit payment.
Great information in the booking confirmation.
Look forward to our camping experience here at the end of the year to see 2023 in!
