★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is clean and the amenities are good (but small). I wasn't keen 9n the carping area for campers as it was very shaded and I like the sun. But if you are looking for a small friendly spot this is a good bet.
Also the local takeaway and roast place does great food ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have stayed here twice now. 1st time was okay as I shared a room with my sister. 2nd time was great had our own room. Very clean and tidy. Had all the comforts of home. Receptionist is very friendly and welcoming. We even got surprised by getting a discount. My bed was a little hard and you can hear the people in the room next door to you.. but apart from that I enjoyed my stay as we were there for 2 nights. Would stay here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Motor lodge was busy and had alot of people staying. We went to the restaurant and bar in particular. But have nothing but good things to say about the staff here. The on-site manager is fantastic

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Location for viewing the splendid sunrise from western banks of Lake Taupo and a convenient location to rest and retire after the strenuous Tongariro Alpine Crossing! It is just 40 mins from #LOVETAUPO.
Supermarkets are within walking distance! The motel has great facilities for children to play and pair of SPA too. The Parkland Restaurant also serves great food, we observed that people from elsewhere also visited the restaurant!
On the flip side the rooms had heated blankets that weren't working.

Room was nice and clean, nice big comfy bed for adults, bunks for kids. Pool and bouncing pillow were the kids favorite
