★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a nice stay here! The receptionist was very friendly and gave us some useful advice for treks in the area. Flat spot for the camper van, warm showers, clean bathroom and a full kitchen. I can imagine it getting alot more packed in the summer months so it would definitely be worth it to book ahead. Plan to take the bus if you want to do the full crossing, as the owners helpfully pointed out there is a strictly enforced 4 hour parking limit at the start of the Tongariro track.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the cabins. Everything you need plus wonderful owners who help in any form or shape they can. Love this place for ski season stay on winter, and Tongariro national park adventures during other seasons. Thanks you Greg and Donna Xx

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So peaceful and spacious. The staff were so friendly and accommodating towards my son who has autism and intellectual delay, they just went with the flow with him. Bedrooms are located in a U shape and great amenities. Would definitely go there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My boyfriend, sister and I stayed here. We all had an amazing time and thought the campsite was awesome. The toilets and showers were clean. The kitchen area and utensils provided were awesome. There were heaps of room in the fridge, the stoves, bbq and dining tabls were awesome. (You do need to bring your own cuttlery, plates, pots and pans).
We read the reviews about the owner being rude, but we thought he was awesome and friendly!!
We would definietly recommend staying here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed for 3 nights very clean facilities, and friendly and accommodating hosts. Highly recommend this park especially if your doing the alpine crossing. Just a short drive to car park at end of crossing hop on shuttle to take you to the start and way you .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family of 5 (3 small children) stayed for a few nights this summer. We honestly wish we would have stayed longer. The facilities were clean and well taken care of. We tent camped so I can't speak on the rooms but the people were friendly and helpful. We loved the location as we prefer quiet to close and it was just a short drive to trails and other activities.You can tell there is a lot of love from the people who run this place. Definitely check it out and give them your support!!
