Worst salon ever!! They give you a price and take booking, but once you visit them it all changes. My visit was a nightmare and I can never recommend them to anyone. I was called in after discussion to get my hair cut and colour done in $169, voucher from GrabOne which they wanted me to pay directly at salon and not buy voucher online. As this way they won’t have to pay GrabOne and they will not charge me extra. I was surprised to see the hairstylist coming up with calculator and started adding price when I went for my appointment. I informed them about my conversation online and price given. They wanted to see conversation history and after seeing my msgs they just went in for a long discussion with Manager. Manager did not even bother to come and talk to me or address the issue but decided to ignore and take a back seat. Hair stylist returned back saying they can do all the services but I will not see much difference in haircolour for $250.00 and then if i want to see the difference it will cost more than $300.00 at a discount price. Also, reception lady intervened unnecessarily with her rude behaviour and tried to put blame on me. I had to leave after so much waiting time and poor customer service. As, I don’t think it’s a right practice to charge nearly double to your client to what you tell them at the time of booking. They lost a client and anyone I know forever. Ps: I left a review to the manager who did not bother to reply on private msg. This is reflective of how this place treats you as they are all about making money without any customer service. Your reply below is absolutely irrelevant to the incident. If you would have told me before to come in for a hair consultation or do not provide prices on Facebook then it’s a different story.. Are you telling me you will Color my hair and it will not cover grey?? Are you telling my hair was extremely long when I discussed how short I am going to cut them??? And you telling me my hair is extremely thick when they are not??? As far as red colour is concerned your hairstylist made it clear even if I pay more it’s going to be there.. so what exactly were you trying to charge for?? You don’t do cheap deals then why are you on GrabOne and promising prices on messenger?? GrabOne is just way for you to attract clients and once they come in you add more prices and fool them. Well this is a real cheap trick.. On top of that you were present there and did not bother to come and participate in this matter so please do not comment on how I was treated!! And Stop lying by saying I black mailed you to give a bad review!! Giving a review is very much under my rights and if this helps even one person then it’s all worth it!!

Melly cut and toned my hair. I absolutely love it she nailed it and fixed up the things I didn't like from my previous cut someone else I don't think I want to go to any other stylist. She did a fantastic job highly recommend

I took my daughter here (13) for her first cut and colour at a hair salon, the staff were very friendly upon arriving and the young lady who served us was a lovely girl named Megan after discussions of what style and colours and various photos she knew exactly what myself and my daughter wanted done, styled cut, thinned hair and cut bangs and the colour red that was used was so rich and the pigment was awesome and was perfect to cover over the at home colouring of green. Loved the end result it was super cute, very bright and thinned nicely. She also had her eyebrows threaded and they looked great. Was fairly priced too as we found the deal on grab one. Overall a very good service received from Megan and the team at Efx. Thank you and we will definitely be returning :)

I purchased the $59 grab one coupon for my daughter (14) which included a style cut, wash GHD and eyebrow shape. We managed to get a booking on the day as it was late night Thursday. All staff were welcoming on arrival. An elderly lady trying to call around for a taxi was occupying the only waiting seat- so staff offered me another seat. I don’t think the elderly lady had been a client here, so I thought it was very kind of the business to take her in while she was waiting for a taxi as it was getting dark. Melly took amazing care of my daughter .Initially my daughter wanted layers but Melly advised against it as she has very thick hair. She explained what style would work for her hair type and did a great job of thinning her hair out. She was very friendly and reassuring. My daughter was very pleased with her hair and eyebrows! Thank you Mel, we will be back ?

Went in today for a haircut, long hair cut to shoulder length for $45, and eyebrow threading $10. I’m very happy with my haircut, they had an appointment the next day, and squeezed in the threading as a last minute add-on. The cut is clean and smooth, and she did what I asked, and made good recommendations. Definitely will be back!

I visited this salon at the beginning of the month wanting a cut. Probably one of the worst hair cuts I’ve ever gotten. I naturally have curly hair so I made sure the stylist knew my hair type. Prior to my visit I had spoken to their staff explaining my hair type and asking if they had a staff that had experience with curly hair, she assured me they did. Even when I told the stylist prior to the cut that my hair is very l curly and naturally it’ll bounce back so just keep in mind when cutting. She assured me she knew what I was talking about. I asked for a levelled cut but she gave me layers without consulting me. She also cut my hair in the front a lot shorter than the back. I noticed how terrible the cut was after I got home and washed it. My hair was cut a lot shorter than I had asked and it has layers that were even shorter. Turned my hair into a big puff. Very unprofessional place, they initially confirmed one price for my cut and when the stylist started cutting my hair after 10 minutes she was asking if it’s okay for her to charge me more? And when I asked why? She said it’ll take her long because I’ve so much hair. Keep in my hair was shoulder length. I agreed anyway cause I didn’t want her to be upset about it and ruin my hair but she did anyway. I went the next day to speak to the salons manager and apparently she was too busy at the back than to come and speak to an unhappy client. Just a terrible salon with unprofessional staff. The work space was not even wiped after the lady before me was finished. The previous clients hair was still hair on the ground and rubbish on the bench in front of me when she asked me to sit for my cut. I should have just walked then because that’s not acceptable considering the covid situation we are in right now. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here! I don’t know how places like this stay in business.
