★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If there was a 0 star i would have given to this shop as i had a very bad experience there. Got my Armani watch from smith& Caugheys 2 years ago. My watch stopped working and i thought ran out of battery. Took it to this place and the guy advice that it was not about the battery and had to tested and the cost for that would be more than $250. I felt very sad at that time cause the watch cost me $750 why would i spent more than $250 to fix? So i tried another place and they said my watch just ran out of battery. Cost me $25 to change it. I need to write my comment on here so people please be careful with what they say. Dont pay too much for what you should pay less.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was very taken back at the appalling phone conversation that I had with Ellerslie Jewellers and Engravers regarding a product I was hoping to order-which I was ready to pay then and there over the phone. I was ordering from out of town, and the gentlemen was so rude, and extremely unhelpful. He proceeded to raise his voice, and then end up hanging up on me. If this is a representation of the business I would not recommend them. 0/5 stars! no doubt

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely give this company all 5 stars!! i went to get my bracelet engraved locally in Wellington (it came back looking horrific). Sent my bracelet to Ellerslie Engravers in Auckland and less than a week it came back looking exactly as i originally wanted it to. 100% Recommend! Excellent value for money too. A+ communication also- thanks Rosemary and co.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I put in two pieces of jewellery a silver necklace needing a new catch, and a ring I bought in India needing resizing. I was told the workshop was behind due to a long weekend! I thought the quote at the time was high, but agreed to it. Heard nothing. I phoned and was told the catch for the necklace had to be ordered from Australia, and the ring could not be sized due to the metal would buckle and to take it back to where I got it from. Also that they had never lost anyone’s jewellery, didn’t even suggest that to the guy who either owns the business or is in charge.
I picked up both pieces took to my local jeweller, half the price and the ring sized no problem. All in less than one week.
All in all a negative experience.
