★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After 5 years of trying to register my divorce through the embassy I was told to get someone in Italy to fix it.
The embassy has all my original documents which cost me hundreds of dollars to obtain. After 5 years of trying to get the situation resolved…someone in the office had the nerve to tell me that if I was too lazy to fix things I should hand back my Italian passport. This was after only giving me 30 seconds to listen to my problem before proceeding to talk over me.
I was told he didn’t need to listen to my problem because I didn’t have an appointment.
I asked how to make an appointment?
The answer was m, there was no appointment for my kind of problem.
Then I was told to send an email about it.
I was told that the person who needs to answer my email will be in next week on Monday. I was told that I should send the email Sunday night because the email would be lost with out a response if I sent it today.
Who is running the place here??? This is ridiculous.
