About Empire Aerial Arts
Our pole technique classes follow the below level structure. If you are brand new to pole dance, Level 1 is perfect for you! If you are already a pole dancer and new to the studio, please get in touch to find out the best level for you. We run an open timetable without term-based courses, so you can attend any of our classes any time you like - if you’re a brand new beginner, book into any Level 1 class on any day and we’ll take care of you!
Pole Level 1 - perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to revisit techniques, this covers all of your essential basics including movement around the pole, climbing, and spins on static.
Pole Level 2 - Level 2 takes you upside down, it is for anyone who has completed Level 1 with us and is ready to get stuck in to a strong foundation of inverted and aerial work!
Pole Level 3 - Level 3 is for those who are now comfortable with inverted and aerial basics up the pole and are ready for intermediate level tricks and combos - this level is all about building your pole vocabulary and stamina!
Pole Level 4 - Level 4 is for our most advanced polers! You'll be learning high level tricks, combos and transitions that will require a solid understanding of moves across all previous levels.
Pole Combos - in Pole combos you’ll be linking together moves you’ve learned in your pole technique classes, and it is the ideal class for anyone who is keen to challenge themselves and work on their stamina and aerial flow

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Empire is a fantastic studio! Emma goes above and beyond for her students and community, like creating custom bauble gifts for everyone over Christmas and giving out vouchers to help local businesses during Covid.
The teachers are super talented and able to cater to all abilities and interests, from pure dance through to pure strength classes, and everything in between. I'm not big into dance, and only really like pole for the skill/strength; V's level 1 classes were a life-safer initially for making me feel like I belong, Andie's level 2 classes are now frequently the highlight of my week, and all of Emma's classes have helped me branch out.
