★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A couple years ago they use to be great, Just been there recently and the food is gone downhill absolutely yuck, the pork was hard it must have been reheated from the day before and way over cooked. Asked for no apple sauce and they still put apple sauce on it. Potatoes tasted like it was reheated from the day before aswell.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious lamb roast. I'm always craving a nice roast place and you always end up spending $20 on a meal for a small plate of potatoes and gravy with 2 pieces of meat. But this place, I'm not gonna lie, it's still around $17 but at least you get a decent amount of meat and it's actually moist and they aren't stingy with the sauce either. Great service as well ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointing! A basic roast meal and an over priced and tasteless pork salad and when it came to crackling, I felt cheated!
The person who served me knew that I've changed my order from lamb to 2 pork meals when he said he can't sell me crackling with them and that I had to buy pork meals if I wanted to get crackling with them. With two pork meals I was supposed to get 4 pieces of crackling like other roast shop offer, but instead and after paying for the two pork meals I only got one single piece of crackling in a bag.
Never again "English" Roast Manukau. There are plenty other and much much better roast shops nearby that offer much better meals and don't fool their customers! Never again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there again after my friend and I got lamb meals. Pork crackle was 1 dollar.
Went back again and the lady told me 1 dollar each, while I was telling her how much I wanted ,she asked if I wanted a meal aswell, I advised her no thank you just the crackle and then a man sitting on his phone behind the counter said something to her in there native language I think mandarin, and all of a sudden she wasn't going to sell me anything at all, so I walked out. Very disappointing, if it's only for sale with a meal then they should say that instead of saying its a dollar each, I feel like they wanted to make extra money and then changed their minds and said only for sale with meal.
If that's truth then say that at the beginning instead of changing the sale from a dollar each to only with a meal.
I wouldve bought 20 which is more than a meal, but I didn't get a chance to do that. Never going back, absolutely disappointing ?
