★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was very shocked with customer service and interaction. Was asked to present ID despite not even being at the bar and only wanting to order a coffee. Was made to pay before even receiving any of order which we thought was odd having not had that happen before and only saw it happen to one other customer. Attempted to ask for some water which in my experience is usually just offered to you straight away before even ordering and also tried to request a takeaway box but employees continuously walked past without even batting an eye and ended up just going in ourselves to make our simple request. Though the quality of the food was not the problem the experience was not up to par for a good day out.

We had Maddie looking after us this evening and she was awesome - friendly, knowledgeable and patient. Danielle was great too! We'll be back for sure!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately my family and I didn’t make it very far past the door. After waiting patiently to be seen my brother in law went to get the attention of a staff member and was met with an abrupt tone of voice from her demanding to see our vaccine passes and ID. This is absolutely understandable considering the current requirements of businesses however her behaviour and attitude was not. Having a strong background in hospitality it’s evident to see the staff lack training and support around basic customer service and genuine empathy. If you’re looking for a decent establishment where you feel welcome to dine at this is not the place for you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really enjoyed our experience here. We live closeby and would have never known about this place if it wasn't for First Table.
We ordered a Truffle Cheesy Pizza, Calamari, Pork sliders, Duck salad, two cocktails (White Cosmo).
Duck salad is amazing! Would go back purely for that.
Decent service and a fair amount of attention. Food came out quickly, but could have been hotter I.e. calamari and pizza were lukewarm.
Next time I'd like to give the local beer a try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Alarmingly loud gastro pub where you have to concentrate pretty hard to have a conversation, but the food is surprisingly good and the beer has good variety. Get their house brews for a treat. If you like sportsball, they have a great big screen for sportsball. If you don't like sportsball, definitely go somewhere else on a sportsball night!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here to catch up with a friend over lunch. We had a very lovely waitress serving us who was very patient considering we didn’t know the menu too well and took a bit of time deciding what to eat and drink. We eventually ordered two margaritas to drink, the three little pigs pizza, calamari rings and a potato-waffle sharing dish.
The Margaritas and pizza were delicious and we are definitely coming back for the calamari rings however, the flavours of the potato-waffle sharing dish were a bit questionable. I wasn’t too sure what the aim of the dish was but in all honesty, having the, what I believe was a creamy potato sauce on top of waffles, along with some pickles, garnish and a hint of jam was a less delightful experience.
Nonetheless, the other meals, drinks, the cleanliness and atmosphere of the restaurant, as well as the service still amounted to a nice and memorable catchup.
