★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is is so much fun. Great for families or with friends. You can choose the level of difficulty. We did it with our 5, 7 and 11 year old kids. We've been there twice for birthdays. Highly recommended for puzzle solvers or just something different and fun. The staff are very helpful. Give it a go

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My daughter and her partner took me here for my 71st birthday. This experience was great as it took me back in time (30 years ago) when I designed missions for my daughter and her friends. I would take pen, paper, toys, candy & knickknacks to the little nature reserve on the Huatoki stream off Red Coat Lane near my flat on Carrington Street. I would write up dozens of cryptic rhyming clues, hide them in the toys & knickknacks and hide the knickknacks up and down the reserve with a bag of lollies at the final clue. I would then go get the kids, give them a starting clue at a good starting location and watch them spend an hour or two going through all the emotions (hope, wonder, surprise, confusion, satisfaction, frustration, anger and finally elation) as they learned to make teamwork perseverance work to solve the clues. Any spats they had before the mission were soon forgotten.
I highly recommend this for young and old.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son and his friends had so much fun in Pirates Room. They are 10 years old. The staff is very friendly and helpful. He even give them 9 extra minute and help them to solve the puzzle. Thank you so much!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Escape Masters New Plymouth was fantastic. Hubby and I had a great time and were super impressed. Great facility, friendly and helpful staff and the room delivered on challenge, unexpected surprises and being loads of fun. We did the train caper and a easy level and was just right for us. Highly recommend and will be back next time we visit but with our kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I found your Escape Room cute. I was visiting from Perth W.A. and it was a fun way to spend an hour with friends in New Plymouth. My suggestion is to not continue offering help via radio. We knew you were there and we knew we could ask. We kept losing train of thought when we were continually asked over and over if we wanted help. Sometimes the struggle brings out the best in those working under pressure. Thanks for the experience.
