β β β β β We purchased a brand new apartment in 2016 which has a EuroTech Design cooktop. From day one the cooktop has had an issue with the digital touch panel freezing. We had to reset it by turning it off at the wall.
As we rarely used the cooktop, we didnβt worry too much. However two years after purchasing the cooktop, the back ring has completely stopped working.
I would certainly not expect a brand new appliance to stop working after 2 years. Iβve owned three properties and never had any appliance stop working in such a short period of time.
There is no damage. Nothing has been dropped on it. There are no cracks or chips. It is in good condition.
When I contacted EuroTech Design, they replied with a very brief canned response. Indicating this must be a very common issue. They stated their warranty is only one year, and we would need to get it serviced and then send a report to them to review βout of goodwillβ.
There is no information on service providers and they donβt respond to further correspondence.
I would stick with a reputable brand that has after sales care and a decent warranty, if youβre looking for any new appliances. Unfortunately we didnβt have that luxury, when buying off the plans.

We bought three Eurotech appliances with our kitchen mania kitchen. The dishwasher has broken down twice with the same error twice, a technician came out to fix it and it stopped working and displayed the same error message within a month of "fixing". The oven button has broken and it has only been used ten times. Eurotech customer service takes weeks to months to provide any assistance, we are still waiting for a reply for our latest issue. Would never recommend their appliances or company.

β β β β β Our 6 months old EuroTech dishwasher broke down before Christmas 2021. A service company came to have a look under the warranty and placed an order with EuroTech for a new part. Today it is April 5th. 2022 and the part still has not been delivered and EuroTech do not answer their phones. The dishwasher also has another design flaw which means that gunk assembles at the bottom on the inside of the door and has to be cleaned frequently. I am shocked by the poor quality of the dishwasher and the total lack of customer service. Roar Henningsen, Auckland

β β β β β So, after posting a negative review 3 weeks ago about my new dish washer which broke down before Xmas 2021, there was a reply to the review from EuroTech the same day that they would like me to contact them and help out. I left a message with someone at their customer department when I tried to get hold of the person. Later that day all I got was a text on my phone from the company who EuroTech uses to service their products(ESI), stating that the spare part was still 3-4 weeks away. This seems to be the way EuroTech operates when looking at all the negative reviews. They sell way below average products and leave you hanging when they break down.
