★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff were absolutely lovely & helpful. The price was super affordable too, thank u! The only let down was the popcorn, we ordered a jumbo box and it was 2/4 uncooked kernals, and please ease off the salt a little. Will defs come back though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst seats ever. How can anyone enjoy 3 hours of movies by sitting in such an awful seats. Even the third world countries have much better seats in their Cinemas. Worst experience ever. You should definitely change the seats and make it a memorable experience for the customer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I will never waste my time going there again. I had 4 teenage boys with me. Tried to purchase 4 tickets to go see batman at 12:05 for my son and his friends all 13 year old. They asked for the vaccine passport which they all had. Then they ask for photo ID which we did not have on us. Two of the boys had their mum send them a photo of passport. But for my son and his another friend we would have to drive from westcity all the way back to waimauku to get there photo ID. One of the boys has not got a photo ID as he has never been overseas and
their school ID has not been issue yet due until next term. The boys showed them pictures of them in there school uniform. There age was on there vaccine passport + I was there! mother of one of the boy's and still they would not let them in. Absolutely pathetic. We had driven all the way there to put up with this treatment unbelievable!
We ended up driving back to westgate event cinemas and went in there with no hassle at all!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Average cinema but the staff is very friendly and very cute (staff in black shirts). Amazing service by clerks: Line, Hafsa and blonde young man who I didn’t get name of. Will visit again and again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We only went to this cinema because we got cheaper tickets. Will not go back. The place is so filthy. The carpet is literally black. In a time when most places are cleaning more than ever it seems this place just doesn't bother. The seats are old and small and I'm sure they probably haven't ever been cleaned either.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the movie I saw !BUT! no other Event Cinemas is this old! The seats are disgusting and have stains and are worn down so much, same with the carpets everywhere and don't even get me started on the lino floor. I actually felt so disgusted sitting in the cinema. Red flags ????
