★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit auf der Othago Peninsula bei Vic in der Bellbird Lodge! Total gemütliches Häuschen, herrlicher Garten, sehr hilfsbereiter, netter Gastgeber in wundervoller Natur! Der Whirlpool war der Hit und wir durften sogar mit Vic's Kajaks eine schöne Tour machen. Wenn nochmal Othago, dann nur in der Fantail oder Bellbird Lodge!

 We had a wonderful time on the Othago Peninsula near Vic at Bellbird Lodge! Total cozy cottage, beautiful garden, very helpful, nice hosts in wonderful nature! The hot tub was a hit and we even had a nice tour with Vic's kayaks. If again Othago, then only in the Fantail or Bellbird Lodge!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfectly located and very comfortable piece of paradise close by prestine highlights of the Dunedin area. Owner was a wildlife guide himself, so very knowledgable about sea lions, pinguïns and albatrosses (and much more) which are all a short ride away. Tessa and Victor are great hosts and look after you, so you'll have a great stay. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ amazing place with very comfortable bed and lush garden setting, with native birds singing. nice walks from the doorstep, very quiet and private. Lovely hosts who are happy to give advice on the surrounding area or local tips. off street parking is very convenient and the kitchen means you can enjoy a meal in the comfort of the cottage.

The cottage was everything we hoped for, cosy and relaxing, just what we needed after a long few months. We're already planning on coming back with the parents in the future!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The excellent reviews reflect the care and thought with which the gentle and thoughtful hosts, Tessa and Vic, have created and maintain this beautiful oasis of calm just a short scenic drive along the peninsular from Dunedin. I couldn't fault anything and look forward to returning when we next visit. We stayed in Fantail Cottage which is utterly charming, light, airy and comfortable. It is surrounded by a garden and completely private. I recommend the 9pm Blue Penguin tour at the Royal Albatross centre and a drive to Allan's beach where we saw sealions.
