Originally from Katikati, I graduated from Otago Medical School in 1983. After a couple of years based in the UK, Kerry and I returned to NZ and I completed my GP training in Palmerston North. Our families (the grandparents) were the pull to bring us back to the Bay in 1989 and we were welcomed into the Mount.
I am grateful to have been able to provide continuity of care for over thirty years to this community. We have family centred medicine at the core of our partnership at Farm St and I am fortunate to have fellow colleagues who share this ideal. We provide a full range of General Medical care. I have particularly enjoyed the care of older patients, skin surgery and seeing children – generally a tonic for any day.
I enjoy getting out on my bike when I can. I completed the Tour Aotearoa during summer 2020, a bike trekking adventure from Cape Reinga to Bluff.
