β β β β β This was the first time I visited Five Star Nails. Very clean establishment. My nail technician Hannah was very thorough, courteous and efficient. The staff looked very cute in their pink shirt n blue jeans. Owner was there to provide their personal touch. Lovely cup of tea.
I would recommend Five Star Nails to everyone who needs nails done.

β β β β β The staff behaved rudely and was very unhappy. I don't know why she was unhappy. I told her my nails were fragile and asked her to be gentle but she ignored them and it still hurt. Is there anything wrong with my consumption? I'm not happy with the final color, eitherγ

β β β β β Person doing nails was not attentive at all. Was too busy on bluetooth phone while doing nails. Despite telling her that what she was doing was not what I wanted she continued doing it. I have ended up with multiple cuts around my fingernails and cannot wet my hands. The chance of infections from these cuts is very high. All my fingers are stinging from the cuts.
Seems like she did not understand english properly. Did gel acrylic instead of gel powder. Manager not available to take complaint on site.
Not recommended at all.

β β β β β I was really impressed with my SNS French tip and they were really gentle when soaking off my acrylic nails. The staff were quiet and could have been friendlier but overall a pretty good experience.

β β β β β I really liked this place. The staff were friendly and took their time doing your nails. I got acrylic nail extensions with gel on top and the lady who worked with me was so kind. She started off conversation and carefully did my nails. I even got a nail art design and she did a phenomenal job.
My only complaint is that she did not prepare my cuticles or nails beds prior to the service and that there are some areas around the sides of my nail that did not fully get colour.

β β β β β Every time Iβve walked in for a manicure the staff seem genuinely annoyed for a customer to be there. Very rude, on their phones constantly and shouting across the salon in conversation. Ive gone back many times but each is exactly the same. Iβve learnt my lesson - never going there again!

β β β β β As soon as I walked in, i knew i was going to have a bad visit. The lady that I dealt with had attitude the second I walked in. I told her what I wanted done, but because there was a language barrier (on her part), even though her colleague was translating, she still gave me the meanest looks and her tone of voice was like she was talking to a 5 year old, to the point that she was yelling. I told her what I wanted done but treated me like I was stupid. She would then start talking to her colleagues in their language, heck I knew she was bad mouthing me. I walked out and didn't let her finish the job. I paid for her to trim my toe nails. But because I'm a nice person I paid $10. Wow. Absolutely appalling service. Been there before and was treated the same, I dont know why I went back. I thought I would support a local business, but boy I regretted it. Never again. Dont even bother with this business. Go somewhere else where they greet you with a smile not with attitude.
If I could give a negative 5 stars I would. They dont deserve a 1 star
