β β β β β Visited this store today and I am gobsmacked at how rude the manager was. I have heard about her bad customer service and I can assure you, she needs to go!
I wouldn't recommend at all

β β β β β Great service and great products. Very happy to pay a fair price for a great charity. Glad to see all the stock is not just rubbish like some other op shops!

β β β β β The lady's that were working today were horrible and extremely rude. These two are not working in a hospice for the right reason at all they have lost touch with what really matters.

β β β β β This store used to be good a few years ago. Now, not so much. Most things are over-priced. Not good in comparison with other op shops within the same vicinity. Perhaps if you priced reasonably. People would donate alot more to you. I've also seen products on your shelf that sit there for over a year.

β β β β β Staff were very rude when we dropped off donations. We did all the heavy lifting and it was no hassle for them at all. It felt like an inconvenience that we were bringing stuff in to donate. The lady closed the gate on us without a thank you before even asking if we were finished bringing stuff in which we werenβt. Had a perfectly working printer that we brought in and we were told rudely that they didnβt take electronics. We didnβt know that and that is completely fine but they could have been nice about it. Wish we took out stuff somewhere else.

β β β β β While this shop is rather small, it will always be my go-to op shop. My interactions with the staff have always been wonderful as the women who volunteer there are lovely. I find the pricing to be very reasonable and even if it is a tad more expensive than others in the area, it's good to remember that 75% of the profits go to the Franklin Hospice (with the remaining 25% supporting the running of the store).
My mum passed away from a terminal illness in the care of a hospice where they made her passing comfortable and peaceful. Hospices are an incredibly important and valuable service and it's absolutely worth it to give that little bit extra.
