★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A decidedly underwhelming experience, with owner very abrupt with our party including two elderly ladies. Overcharging didn't help! Very cramped cafe area and cold but tea and coffee at least were hot. Won't be rushing back. Customer service makes the difference every time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have shopped in store Katherine for years, and have always enjoyed the store immensely. However today, after an appalling display of customer service I regret to say I will never set foot in there again.
I feel so disappointed with the response you gave to one of your staff to tell me over the phone, especially when you were unable to supply the item I wanted to purchase. It was exceedingly rude. Just remember you never know who is on the end of the phone and how much they would spend instore, and if you wouldn't say it to the face...don't EVER go there over the phone.
End of the line for me shopping at French Blue, and I sincerely hope you take something on board from this.
Never take customers/clients for granted!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would like to ask Katherine why would she want to go to any effort and own such a beautiful store if you don’t want anyone to buy anything by being so flipping rude. I have been into your store 4 times now- purchased every time but four times I have left, and every time I have walked out thinking how rude would you have to be before I wont come back. Well I think you got there today-You know Katherine I can get all your stock from someone else - whose is pleasant and wants my money and business

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ See I am not only one to get bad service. Nice stock in shop. Never looked at coffee area and took photo as I was deciding on treat to buy and got told off. Seriously told off. Never going back. Better places a few steps away!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I feel so upset by my trip to French Blue. The owner was so rude on my entry that I had to leave before even looking at any of the things in the store. A shame as while I like nice things, being treated like a leper is awful. I still feel upset about her attitude of contempt.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ French Blue certainly is a stockist of quality European inspired wares. Catherine has a friendly cheerful manner creating such a special ambience in store. I really do enjoy my weekly visits at French Blue Cafe as I have met so many customers returning week after week for coffee and catch ups that we have formed ongoing great friendships. In my opinion French Blue is a first choice option in Christchurch for quality gifts coupled with a pleasant atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful products. Very rude woman. Asked for my vaccine pass even though I was there to shop for a gift. Not to purchase food. Then proceeded ( in my presence) to comment to another customer she doesn't always ask for a vaccine pass, only when she doesn't know the person. Needless to say, I felt very unwelcome there and decided to purchase in another shop.
