The staff were excellent and our chef was wonderful even having his picture taken with my wife,
And he was thoughtful enough to add candles to her dessert as it was her birthday.
Great value for money Can't recommend highly enough

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Covid protection measures don’t dim the spirit and fun here. Throwing food and dramatic table-side grilling is entertaining….on top of really delicious plates. Our 8 year old specifically wanted to go here for her family birthday dinner, and her expectations were met. Nice staff!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food and entertainment. The chefs always put on a show while providing a good selection of dishes. We opted for one of the set menus and they didn't disappoint.
A plus is the availability of on-street car parks although you may need to drive around for a while (blasted City Council policy!). With no free period, you'll have to factor-in the considerable extra cost.
Recommend Fujiyama for food, entertainment and Asahi beer on tap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've been a few times now and while not cheap, it's pretty cool for the spectacle of the large flames, watching the speedy chefs do their thing in front of you, and catching bowels of rice and eggs which is always a crowd pleaser. The food generally tastes good, although I had the steak for the first time and it was incredibly chewy which was very disappointing, so won't have that again.
The restaurant extraction fans struggle to keep up with clearing all the cooking smoke and could do with a revamp or some more added to the ceiling to grab the extra smoke the big fans miss. The toilets were "quite disgusting" and not well maintained so need some serious attention, such as fixing the locks on the doors and keeping them clean!! (this from the other people with us)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fun family eatery with fresh food and a live show of teppanyaki grill cooking. Teppan grilling are typically propane-heated, flat-surfaced, and are widely used to cook food in front of guests at Japanese restaurants. The knife show at these premises are basic, but fun for the family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautifully cooked fresh food a real feast. The perfect place for a post Covid team bonding night seated around the barbecue able to talk to people all around the large seating area, lots of laughs as the chief entertains and prepares course after course. The karaoke was a great way to finish off an evening , hearing other guests go for it was huge fun.

The food & service was great with the bonus of chefs cooking and entertaining us with their skills.
I've developed a taste for warm Saki now ?
The price of the evening was very reasonable as well.
