Fuschia Boutique is a growing family business, established in Newmarket in 1998. The store relocated across the road to Rialto Centre (upstairs on Level One near the food court and cinema) in 2017. We specialise in Eventwear, Shoes & Accessories & offer Beauty & Body Piercing services all-in-one fabulous location. We are 100% New Zealand owned and operated.
At Fuschia Boutique, we don't believe in the concept of spending thousands of dollars to wear a dress only once. Our prices are affordable, and we endeavour to price our styles accordingly. If you see a style advertised elsewhere at a lower price, please discuss this with us prior to your purchase. We source our event wear from our reputable designers, locally and internationally, including but not limited to Australia, USA, UK and NZ & welcome manufacturers & suppliers to make contact with us.
You may view our latest lookbooks for pre-season ordering, browse our virtual racks or shop in store; our sizes are NZ | Australian sizing for shopping online with confidence. We do update our site as regularly as possible, however some styles may sell out of the store prior to being uploaded! Our racks are plentiful with beautiful styles to choose from, in assorted colours and sizes as curated by our team of stylists. We can offer you expert fitting room assistance in store and style advice should you require, to help you piece together the perfect event outfit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heaps of variety if gowns, I never make reviews but with this one i would because of the i store experience me and my wife had. Rae is so accomodating…. I hate it everytime my wife chooses a dress or something because it takes ages but the in store expeience we had here was amazing i did not even noticed my wife already tried on 3 different gowns.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My cousin and few of my friends warned me about this place but I didn’t believe it till it happened to me. I went about a month ago to help my little sister look and try on dresses for her ball, the lady that helped us was all nice at first, I said “Thankyou” then she goes to say “are you not buying the dress?” I said “no not right now” (we had to leave to get my card to buy the dress she liked which was $600+) BUT when we were walking out the store she said “well that was a waste of my time” loud enough so we could hear, my little sister felt upset after that comment. so I decided I wasn’t going to buy the dress from someone who was so rude just because we didn’t buy anything (yet) We ended up going to a bridal store (ball section) which sold the same dress, same price but WAAAYYYY BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE. Such a shame, yous have literally lost alot of customers who constantly look for ball dresses every month.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lady who was working was so rude, she only allowed my friend to try on 2 dresses when she wanted to try on more. her customer service needs to improve as she made us feel unwelcome and told us there was a limit on the dresses we could try on, then when our ‘limit’ was up she practically forced us out of the shop. i do not recommend going to this shop, there are better options with better staff.

And gave good suggestions on altering the dress since we were looking for a specific look but we got the colour we wanted and the dress was overall good. Would recommend this place for formal wear of any event. Thanks ?

But if you want the best range, and service to match, call Rae at Fuschia. She's excellent, the range is extensive and suits all budgets (all the way up), Rae always listens well and knows just what you want. Flexible arrangements, easy, comfortable attention to your needs has seen our daughters shop here repeatedly. Highly recommended.

She faced the prospect of having to wait for an ordered dress due to someone having the dress she wanted on hold but through good communication from the owner we ended being able to get the dress earlier.
