About Garden Place Dental Hamilton | Lumino The Dentists
Mercedes graduated as a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of the East, in Manila, the Philippines in 1991. After migrating to New Zealand in 1999, she passed the New Zealand Dental Registration Examination in 2003.
She enjoys general dentistry, such as extractions, filling and dentures, crown and bridge works and root canal treatment. She also enjoys gum treatments. She has a particular interest in implants and worn dentition and multiple extractions.
She is a compassionate, caring and conscientious clinician who believes in going the extra mile for her patients. With over fourteen years of experience in general dentistry in New Zealand, she is committed to continual personal and professional development to ensure the provision of the best quality care for her patients.
Helping people overcome their fear of dentistry is one of her favourite parts of her job. She also loves being able to help people to become confident with their smiles and helping her patients to stop experiencing pain.
Outside of work, she enjoys walking with her husband and watching movies. She also enjoys spending time with her two children, her friends and extended family. To relax, she likes to read self-improvement books, flicking through magazines and building small Lego. On the weekends, she is often found relaxing at home or by the beach or lake.

โ โ โ โ โ Friendly, professional & caring dental service right in the heart of the city. No problem is too small for them and everyone from the office staff to the hygienists to the dentists is amazing. They all take the time to explain your procedure and work with you to suggest products to take home to maintain your oral hygiene. I'm usually not keen on dental visits but they all go out of their way to make you feel at ease. Looking forward to my next appointment!
