★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You get what you pay for........ Gilbert Lodge is a basic Scout camp on DOC land. The hall has two basic bunk rooms, a kitchen area and a dining/activities hall. There is plenty of space around the lodge for Scout activities, camping and the swimming hole's pretty good too!
This is where the Nelson Zone holds the annual Founders Day Scout Camp and National Mudslide Day activities. The facilities are available to book by all Scout groups and may be available to non-Scouting activities on application.
