★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely the best fair chase Red Stag hunting in all of New Zealand! Incredible tahr hunting as well. Everything was top notch, including the food, the staff, and the atmosphere! And the scenery is the best we have seen in all of New Zealand. If you are thinking about a hunting trip to NZ for stag, tahr, fallow, chamois, Arapawa Ram, or wild goat, this is without doubt where to do it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trip exceeded expectations in every aspect. Hosts are excellent, guides fantastic! Everyone involved in the organization were fabulous!! Wife didn't hunt but accompanied me one morning, next morning she set off with her personal 'guide' to see the local shops.
Would be 6 stars if that was a choice.

They have an amazing variety and quality of animals (and the Best options for free range and fair chase), the Most Beautiful Scenery we have seen in NZ, Wonderful guides, Delicious food, comfortable accommodations, and EVERYONE we met who works with them are the nicest, most enjoyable group of people! I've hunted with them twice, coming home each time with trophies of a lifetime. I would very highly recommend anyone looking to hunt in New Zealand to hunt with Richard & Sarah Burdon of Glen Dene. It will be one of the best trips of your life!

My wife and I planned our Honeymoon to NZ and a hunt at Glen Dene. For a good while prior to the trip, Glen Dene was more than helpful in answering all my questions and helping me plan things out.
When we arrived, we were blown away by the unconditional hospitality of Richard, Sarah, and the Glen Dene staff. Very professional, knowledgeable, and caring are the words I would use to initially describe.
The scenery, views, and of course the animals we saw were straight out of fantasy! The entire experience is something we will never forget!
