★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very pleased with costumer service. They took time to explain difference between vacuums and plugged them in for me to try. They also allowed me to split the payment between cash and credit, as I run out of balance. Overall very satisfied with the shop and customer service. The vacuum is also performing as expected.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had excellent service from the Sales Consultant Dylan. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and discussed the best type of vacuum cleaner for our solution dyed nylon carpet. No one had even mentioned the type of vacuum cleaner we needed to use when we purchased the carpet so this was a great help and explained why our Electrolux vacuum was not the best kind for our carpet and had been hard to push on the dense carpet. We purchased a Hoover Regal with height adjustable rotating heads and are delighted with it, so much so that our neighbour has borrowed it to use and is heading to Godfreys to buy one herself and to meet Dylan. Thanks Dylan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took my vacuum to be repaired as it had a broken clip ( turns out you don' t need that clip to make it work)- it should have been an easy fix for a proper vacuum repairer, instead it took them weeks to get back to me, then had to keep chasing them for a quote which came in at about $700 plus labour and the words we do not feel it is worth the repair. (this was a not very old vacuum at all and a good quality one) when I picked up the vacuum there was additional damage done to the vacuum which they denied they caused and got a reply that ended in "good luck" - I then looked on youtube and worked out how to fix it my self in less than 30 minutes with no need for extra parts at all! so in all would I ever go back to Godfreys - hell no! - so after getting feedback to this review I called and left my number and refernce number its been nearly a week and no call back..

This vacuum is really good. Sucks very well and lots of adjustments.
Battery lasts about 15mins. Can do good vacuming 1 whole room at a time. 8 hours charging time...
Even though I was told that,
Battery lasts about 40 minutes.
Battery life is 5 years and it can be changed easily. It would cost less than 100 bucks.
So, I went there to buy another one and it costs $160 :D

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfriendly warranty service from boss guy. Never call back even I called twice and one visit. Very unkind respond even I was waiting more than 2 weeks. Local manager helped with this issue after complain. I will never go back again even for warranty.

Be careful if you are buying Bissll Big green machine from any of Godfrey.
They will tell you all good stories about machine but when it’s break down they won’t help you at all.
Too difficult to get parts of that machine and you have to wait months and months for your machine.
If you call godfreys , they will say “We are sorry it’s not in our hands “.
They are register dealer for Bissell big green but only for selling machine not after that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A year and a half ago we brought the hoover regal. It cost us over 1000$ with the diverter. From the day we got it it had issues and we had to take it back to get bits replaced . Now a year and a half later the machine has stopped working and the man said it's probably not in warranty and a fault of our own. It's used for home use only and always had a diverter on it and had it's regular clean and service. It is still in the warranty period and cost us a fortune! This is completely ridiculous and if this cannot get fixed or replaced or get our money back I will not recommend Godfrey's at all. Cannot believe a vacuum of this value has had so many issues. This better get fixed at no cost to us as it is in the warranty and we are over it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These people are total scam and a joke. Bought vacuum from them year and a half ago. Bits and parts broken after first six months then vacuum itself broke just after first year of use. Got them to fix it, they did a terrible job so it broke again 5 months after, same issue. Went back, first they were trying to say that I haven't had it fixed there then they wanted to charge me for the repair of their terrible work.
Ended up buying a new vacuum elsewhere. There are so many better stores to get a vacuum from, so don't waste your money and time with these con artists.
