14/12/20 Update STILL NOT RESOLVED!!! I have requested a full refund yet again, they have just gone ahead without informing me & repaired this against my wishes & now informed me its ready for pickup. Took about a month & a half to repair which takes up most of the 3 month warranty, which if you consider it took less than 2 hours of use to have a major problem which stopped me from using it. ANY reasonable person would not want the vacuum back whatsoever, these guys are absolutely useless. This has to be by far the worst customer service I have EVER received bar none, & all over a $130 vacuum. I am actually in disbelief over how bad their customer service is. Bought a Work Hero Shop Vac off these guys, got less then 5 hours use before it started rumbling & smelling of smoke, took in which I was surprised that the only option they offered for a $130 vacuum was to send it away for repairs. Almost a month later I am still waiting for it to be repaired - have directly quoted the consumers guarantee act & asked for a refund. They seem to have the weird idea that their shop policy overrides the consumers guarantee act & are adamant that I must wait for the vac to be repaired. I would recommend staying the hell away from these guys as they have shown poor understanding of the consumers guarantees act, very little willingness to work to resolve the issue & have no real ability to assess or repaire their products within a reasonable time.

Went here today looking for vacuum bags. Although they didnt have the one we were after in stock, they gave us a free temporary one to keep us going until stock arrives (later this week). The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Visited Northwood a couple of months ago re a new vacuum cleaner. Service too good and came away with a Hoover Allergy - really should have got the Nilfisk which was half the price and just as good.

An honest review - The vacuum cleaner we purchased blew up after 12 months of extremely minimal use (we have cleaners who do the vacuuming with their own vacuum cleaner) - it was the Paws and Claws hoover. They wouldn't loan me a vaccum cleaner as they said they are all in use due to high volumes of other people experiencing break downs. They replaced the motor but this took over a month. In the interim I bought a Dyson stick vacuum cleaner which is a much better vacuum cleaner.

Took a steam mop in for repairs under warranty. Staff were hopeless to deal with. Finally got a promise of 10 working days for a repair, and they'd call when ready. Nearly a month later I followed up myself- wanting to allow time for covid/ Christmas delays. Only to find it had been sitting in the store for days, no one had attempted to call because quote "we're so busy". So busy that your staff members are standing round gossiping in an entirely empty store? Also staff kept pulling down their masks to talk and wouldn't observe any kind of social distancing.

Excellent service from the owner of the Chritchurch stores. He was amazing with our 2 young sons, letting them operate the various machines and encouraging them to use different parts for different functions. Walked us through our options, gave us lots of valid information and knew his stuff. Highly recommend this store for high quality machines and excellent service.

The staff were amazing. I gave a 3 star as the Afterpay option hadn't been updated so I couldn't purchase in-store. I had to purchase on line Click and Collect and even that wasn't updated so it showed none available in Northwood. I continued with the sale only because staff were going to get it delivered to the store the next day otherwise I would've given 1/2 a star for all the inconvenience it caused me.

So disappointed with your service and product. We bought a vacuum two year ago for $1000. In these two years, it went for repair more than we used this vacuum. When you spend this much money you expect that product should be durable. I don’t post bad reviews very easily because I know what it takes to build the good reputation. But your product and service made me to post this review after two years of consideration.
