About Greenlane Childcare Centre
Our kaiako believe in creating an enriching environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence in themselves and their play, and to have perceptions of themselves as explorers who research, enquire and experiment with the world around them. As kaiako we believe in noticing an individual child’s interests and responding to these in meaningful ways. Kaiako are life-long learners who are knowledgeable and passionate about their practice, committed to growth and personal development. Our curriculum is inspired by the principals, strands and goals of Te WhΔriki, which guides us in defining what we do and why we do it.
We foster reciprocal tuakana teina relationships through our mixed-age groups, and believe all children learn and teach each other through their play and relationships. Ako is valued in our learning culture within the centre, as we all have something to learn from one another and have a meaningful contribution to make. Kaiako view children through a holistic lens, and support all areas of their social, physical, emotional and spiritual development through our curriculum and planning.

β β β β β Greenlane Childcare centre is fantastic. We've been sending our boy here from 18mths and have been extremely happy over the past 3years. He has enjoyed many a trip to Cornwall park as well as trips to the zoo, butterfly creek and Ambry farm.
The girls at the centre are all genuine & caring with huge hearts!
There is great depth of knowledge and tenure within the teaching staff at Greenlane preschool. We couldn't have wished for a better start for our little guy.

β β β β β We first moved to Auckland from South Africa in 2018 and were very overwhelmed with trying to find a pre-school for our daughter. After viewing a few, we visited Greenlane Childcare and the atmosphere was amazing. All the kids looked as though they were really enjoying themselves. There were little groups of children doing separate activities that they had the freedom to go between and they all seemed calm and happily preoccupied. It felt like a home on a really great day and so it was an easy decision for us. We have been very happy with Kindy, we love the updates and pictures and the memory book we received. The teachers and assistants go out of their way to make it special for the kids and parents alike. We are so grateful to the Greenlane teachers for treating us like family and also for giving our daughter a great foundation for big school. I would highly recommend Greenlane Childcare.

β β β β β Greenlane Childcare Centre is the best thing you could do for your kids. After needing to find new childcare for my kids I must have visited 5 daycare's and lost all hope in finding somewhere to send my two boys. But the moment I walked in the doors and meet the amazing teachers I knew this was the place, the warm homey feel and the way the teachers interacted with the kids blew me away.
Everyday is a new adventure here and I love how they set up new activities daily for the kids or enjoy walks up to the park.
And the teachers are the nicest, kindest ladies I have ever meet! I wish my kids could stay here forever!!!

β β β β β My daughter is in the under 2's at Greenlane Childcare Centre and she loves it. From our very first visit she was comfortable and felt safe and was happy to go and play without me beside her. The team and children are so friendly, it's such a lovely, caring environment. I really like that the team go above and beyond to get to know your child's personality, routine at home, preferences when sad or how they like to be put to bed. This made me feel so confident dropping her off in the morning, knowing her routine would be the same as at home. Would highly recommend to my friends.
