Newdane Motors was established in 1976 by a very gifted mechanic who had been running Newdane Motors for 31 years. In 2007 Newdane Motors was taken over by one of the top mechanics in the company, Michael, and he has been managing it ever since. Newdane has been providing top quality service to the Auckland local community for over 35 years and keep customers happy.
Our qualified team of mechanics have access to a modern workshop with dealer-level scanners. We have all the latest diagnostic equipment to repair and service all makes and models, specializing in BMW, Audi, VW and Mercedes. Fixing… not guessing!
We also offer free pick up & drop off in the Greenlane Area plus courtesy cars when available.
All work by us has a warranty. We are MTA Assured.

β β β β β Charged $75 just to look at my vehicle but was "kind enough" not to charge to remove a stone from between my brake pads. Judging from the other reviews this place has a reputation for taking advantage of customers and practically stealing their money. Absolutely disgusted with them.

β β β β β Michael-Greenlane told 175 NZD for servicing my Subaru but charged 236 NZD. He later adding 60 dollars for labor and did service with cheap engine oil. He charged 50 dollars for oil when I check it is available for 28 dollars in repco. I won't recommend this place and Michael.

I went to another wof afterwards and had to fix something for $40.

β β β β β This was a while back but my key ignition was a bit sticky. Came back 3hours later to be told there was nothing wrong but would cost over $300 for looking at it. What a rip. An honest mechanic wouldn't charge you if there's nothing wrong or maybe labour not over $300. I felt bad for my mum who had to fork out an unfair bill. Dunno how these guys are still in business with their scams. Just read the reviews.

β β β β β I went to Newdane Motors this time last year but since then I found a new mechanic. They have advised me I paid double the market rate for the work done to pass my last WOF here at Newdane motor which was over $600.
If the Michael stopped spending so much time over charging people and making fake google accounts to review this own company and more time doing honest work people would provide 5star reviews.
