★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a find! Super friendly and helpful staff. We were a little late having lunch so some options were already gone but we were offered the Lamb and the Beef with Port. Delicious, you can taste that it's been made from scratch. Generous size meal, even in the 'apprentice' size, with side of creamy mash and red slaw - red carrot was a little chunky for my liking but otherwise a great slaw with dried figs and pumpkin seeds - yum. Coffee very nice, and a great selection of organic drinks. Grateful for the local who recommended we go here. We'll definitely be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every time I get the chance I have lunch at Commercial Bay Hammer & Tongs. The food is consistently delicious and full of flavour. Such a great option when avoiding carbs or keto. They also have take home meals and treats. I wish I could eat here every week.

I'm gluten, dairy and egg free and they were able to provide a wonderful variety of delicious foods that catered to my and other guests range of dietary requirements. Everyone has been raving about the food, some people saying it's the nicest food they've ever had at a wedding. From the tasty salads and meats to the yummy desserts, everything was a hit. Mia and Kate also did the catering and they did an amazing job. We couldn't be happier.

Mia, Kate and their team are welcoming and friendly with a passion for serving the community wholesome honest food. I can’t recommend the highly enough! P.S the Stick Date Pudding is incredible!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm not a local but sometimes veer out of my way to enjoy some of the healthiest & tastiest takeaway lunch in Auckland. And guys don't be put off by "healthy", they have meat options and you can just point to that and ask them to choose the salad. I totally recommend.
