We ordered a couple of burgers, some chips and a couple of jugs of beer - the burgers were huge, but easier to eat than your average gourmet burger because of the shape/ size of the bun. The chips were nice, and so were the beers. I'd highly recommend Gourmet Burger and Brew Kitchen if you're in the city and looking for some quality food, at a really reasonable price, with a good atmosphere.

If you try an amazing burger and chips and you're into spice, ask for the crushed chilli dip relish. I have literally bought a tub of this from them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been to the Gourmet Burger Brew and Kitchen a few times now. It is by far the best burger in NZ. I am vegetarian and find it hard to get a decent burger anywhere. There is a choice of veggie burgers but I would recommend the sweet corn fritter burger. I drive nearly one hour from NW Auckland to get the burgers here.
As stated in previous reviews the burgers are huge but easy to eat.
If I could, I would give 5++++.
The only recommendation would be to upgrade the service.
