★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to the Porirua branch a few months ago and my experience still effects me today. I got a brazilian there and the lady was so so bad. She didn't make me feel comfotable at all. Not only did she fail to get all of the hairs, she opened the door while I was getting changed so the whole mall could see me. Definietly not going back there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had my eyebrows threaded at the lower hutt store... I have never come home with a headache and had to put ice on my brows after having them threaded. Was extremely painful. Every other time I've had them done I've been fine afterwards with minimal pain. Nothing like I've got today. I probably need to find somewhere else now. The beautician was lovely but I didn't expect to feel like this afterwards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last time I went here they cut my hair. The result was awful, do not go here to get your hair layered as mine turned out looking like someone has cut chunks out of my hair. Although it is the best place to get your eyebrows done. The staff who do my eyebrows are so lovely and always do an outstanding job!

I've been looking for a nice hair salon to do a hair up for my 21st in a months time. I popped into the Queensgate store, which had 'Hair Ups POA' on their sign, so I asked the lady at the front approximately how much it would be. The lady was very rude, and told me they don't do hair ups - despite it being clearly on their services list. I asked if this was in general because I wanted to book in advance, to which she responded the stylist who does hair ups wasn't available. But then she went to ask about it for the date I was after - so ultimately, the stylist was available. She returned and just said they didn't do hair ups. Bad customer service, front desk lady was very unfriendly and just an awkward experience overall. :( Was really looking forward to book in an appointment too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in for a colour touch up and hair cut at the Porirua branch earlier in the year and was denied because my (cleanly washed hair) looked too gross. no one else was in the salon. I waited for 30 minutes to be told to leave. The interaction still bothers me to this day

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been a customer of this place for almost 2 years and spend approx $150 there every month. There are some good things: the beauty lady is quite friendly, the lady who cut my kids hair seemed to care and did a good job. BUT (this you need to know)
The manager lady is incredibly rude. A few weeks ago I asked for a fringe trim to which she signed (like fixing my hair was a pain)and said she wanted to get a coffee so I'd have to wait half an hour.
Last week I went in and they'd been cleaning with toxic stuff and to come back in an hour. Another time they wouldn't let my son wait.
And this morning I forgot my phone so I asked if my husband could text her my vaccine pass so she could scan it and she said 'no' very rudely then ranted on about Jacinda and chased me out of the shop. They know I have a vaccine pass and I offered to have my husband text it to them so they could scan it. It just seemed weird that they wouldn't help me since I've been such a good customer for so long. And even if she refused to help there was no need to start shouting and ranting on about Jacinda! It made me very uncomfortable and angry and I will never go back to this shop. This lady does not deserve loyal customers!!!
