★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went into Hannahs Manukau not dressed nicely (due to an extreme bank pain) - I was ready to spend $200+ on shoes ONLY to be greeted by snobby staff who are standing in a corner gossiping. Not once did they say "Hello" or smile at myself or any other customers in store. Although, I was ready to buy shoes, I decided to take my money to Overland and buy my footwear there. Poor customer service for a fairly high priced brand is an absolute fail!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I love going to Hannah’s but the girls that work there are horrid and don’t do anything. This has happened more then once where they do not offer any help what so ever. Today I went in the store and I needed some help but all of the girls were standing in the middle of the store, blocking the way and gossiping. I suggest online shopping or going to another store. Also it would be nice if the store hired some worthy sales people rather than immature girls who can’t assist anyone and are snobbish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went there twice today. The first time was a little after they'd opened. Obviously too early for the staff there to want to talk to anyone, we were there for about 15 minutes, not once did either of the staff even acknowledge our existance. We left without buying anything.
We went back a second time thinking that it couldn't be worse. We found shoes that were nearly right, 1/2 a size out and a little too light. We approached a salesperson and asked if he could find something that met what we wanted. He undertook to have a look and come back to us. On his way back he got waylaid by people wanting to pay for shoes and in then seemed to completely forget about his original task. We left again without buying either of the 2 pairs of shoes we were after.
What I did notice though was that a friend of one of the salespeople came in, gave a hug, a cheek kiss and gave a whole lot of service to him.
I wouldn't recommend going there if you have any hope of getting customer service, unless you're a friend of the sales staff

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lady who served me (Melissa) sounded very nice. She helped me look through a few types and I didn't like any of them. Finally I saw a pair that seemed nice and I pointed to them and asked to try them on. She comes back with a pair and I tried them on. Loved them. But it wasn't until she handed me the eftpos machine with double the advertised price that I was shocked! Turns out she gave me the wrong shoes to try on. This almost felt deliberate to try up sell me the expensive pair. She knew exactly what shoes I was refereeing to (that were on sale) once I questioned the price!
Melissa then told me to just switch them as they're 'virtually the same shoes'.I insisted to try on the other pair and they definitely were not! They were extremely uncomfortable. The manager would not match the price. This felt very much like a bait and switch situation, show you something nice and then 'oh oops it's double the price'. I wouldn't have tried them on if I knew how much they were in the first place. I sincerely hope It was a genuine accident. The manager knocked off $30, which still ended up being another $50 more then the shoes I initially asked to try on.
Be very careful buying shoes from Hannah's !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After years of shopping here this has been the worst shopping experience ever. Manukau City branch ... shoes everywhere- no assistance whatsoever and staff looking bewildered at the front counter. Understand it is back to school and a public holiday but staff accordingly... but then one begs the question- would it matter?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent customer service! The lady manager was able to track down a pair of shoes for me in a couple of days! So helpful. And the man that works there also is very helpful. Staff there always approach to see if there is any shoe I'm interested in.
