★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Harvey Furnishings made up an odd size venetian blind for us in late January 2021. The cost was $100-00 less than another quote we got and the blind was made within the 7 day time frame. The opposition quoted 4 weeks to make and deliver. The aluminum blind was exactly as we ordered and came well packed with all the sundries to hang it. Great experience from beginning to end.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just visited this store to get a quote for my house. The sales person Dipak was not at all interested to help. He doesn’t want to explain the different fabric and has no idea of the products. Not sure why they would employee someone who is not willing to work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A little belated review (from events of last year). Down with the customer service at this place. Spent around 2 hours over 2 visits explaining my requirements to the lady staff there. The order was for TWO curtains. After months of wait for the fabric to come from abroad and curtains be made, we were horrified to see only ONE curtain was produced. The lady who looked after us was very rude and blamed it all on us (clearly 2 hours of explanation was not enough!). Had to pay DOUBLE of our budget and wait ANOTHER 2 months for the fabric to come from abroad and curtains be made.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Buying curtains and blinds with Harvey Furnishings was my greatest regret. When I signed the contract and payed 50% it stated the current delivery time was 4-5 weeks, of course, they used COVID as an excuse to say they would delivery from 5-6 weeks. Tomorrow I will complete 8 weeks waiting for blinds for my house. They are unfriendly once you sign a contract and they will not get in touch with you if you don't chaise them. I would never ever buy again at Harvey Furnishings.

We were looking for a specific curtain rail holder, and after looking in several shops, decided to see if Harvey Furnishings would have them, yes! Thankfully this was our last stop, next time it will be the first stop!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Before you start reading what I wrote on my review dated of a month ago, today is 28/12/2021 I called Harvey Furnishing asking for an ETA on my curtains and they have no idea delivery date. They actually delivered, however the blockout curtain does not match trail. During installation they promised the new one for two weeks later, today is the forth week and nothing. Keep reading the rest of the review please.

Not a very good experience so far. Still waiting for my blinders to be installed with a 4 weeks delay from what was agreed on contract. However they are very fast when it comes about charging you or requesting payment.
Installation scheduled to this Saturday, I will come back to talk about product quality after and if they actually install. I'm not confident it is happening though.
Almost 6 months later they finally finished install on 09-feb/2022, however, no stress free. We had to go on store and complain, call several times customer service, and after we told then we were consulting a lawyer, they finally installed the last part of the curtains. I would give 0 stars to this guys, but it is not possible unfortunately.
PS: we posted comments on their instagram, however as it is a negative review they deleted and blocked us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think Harvey Furnishings North Shore is going under.
I ordered and paid for curtain tracks and was advised a 10 days delay. Importer is located 5 minutes walk away. I needed a couple more mounting brackets which I paid and had to wait for as nothing is in stock. After enquiring several days later, nothing. After 7 days wait I was advised that normal delivery time is 10 days. So I have to wait 20 days to put up the track. You're kidding!!
They could have walked around to the importer, whose building is visible from their shop, and fetched the brackets. Or they could have advised me that I could pick them up myself. Or they could have combined my delivery with another order. No!!!
Abysmal service.
Okay, to be fair, they did toss me out of the store when I raised my voice to complain. And I got a full refund on the two brackets ($35).
PS: How can I select zero stars...??
