My parents, Ken and Bente Winter, were born in Denmark and immigrated to New Zealand in the 1950's. From modest beginnings in 1958 to an international family company employing over 100 people, Danske Møbler has evolved to become one of the leading home furniture companies in New Zealand, expanding to cover all of the country's major centres through its own retail stores and with carefully chosen and appointed family owner dealers.
With its own furniture factories in Mt Eden, Auckland, you can be assured of excellence in craftsmanship alongside the best of local and carefully selected imports to fully complement the range.
The passion for fine furniture and the management of the business has been passed onto a new generation. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff don’t care about selling, I have been trying to buy an item for like 10 days, calling and no one bother to give update, they even don’t know what we agreed on and the person went on leave! Called asking if they got item ready for pickup and no one knows what I’m talking about.
Offered to pay at the start and they said no need you pay when you collect which later I discovered they sold the item to someone else because I didn’t pay! Really confused !
Head to any other store which they appreciate the business, nothing special about them and quality is similar or worst
